Blue Nile: Experimental videos from Sudan, is the he outcome of a 2-week workshop held in Sudan University of Science and Technology, Khartoum by Jude Anogwih, vanlagos.org. Supported by the Prince Claus Funds, The Netherlands, the videos from this workshop is a novel compilation of experimental video art made in Sudan. The participants through the works made invite all to share in their view of a multiplicity of interpretations on socio-political, cultural and historical topics and issues. These videos mark the bases for the future of video art in Sudan and the participants have shown so much promise to make the best of the new skill acquired during the workshop.
This is a trailer from the compilation. The compilation is available for screenings at festivals, media art projects and exhibition.
